Let’s make memories, not just milestones. 💛
Join us for Learn 2 Ride Day, a free, family-powered community event where we help children (and people of all ages!) learn to ride a bike for the very first time — and celebrate every wobble, fall, and triumph along the way.

🌿 A Safe, Encouraging Place to Learn

Whether it’s your child’s first push off the grass or you’re an adult learning later in life, we use a proven grassy hill method that’s:

  • Safer than training wheels (which can hurt ankles and slow learning)

  • More empowering than long-term strider use

  • Effective for children as young as 3, as well as teens and adults

  • Successfully used with riders who have autism or other learning challenges

We’ve seen dozens of first-time riders succeed in just one session—and many families return again and again to celebrate their child’s growth.

🎉 What’s Included

âś… Free Bike 4 A Cause T-shirt
✅ Golden Certificate of Achievement (signed by the Mayor of Ventura and more importantly, you—your child’s biggest supporter)
âś… Bike bell from Trek Ventura (while supplies last)
âś… *Champion Circle photo backdrop for your milestone moment
✅ Optional Family Photo/Video Shoots — we'll document the moment your rider takes off, and create a custom slideshow tagged on Instagram (with your signed media release and depending on volunteer availability)

🧰 What to Bring

  • Your bike (or let us know ahead if you need one)

  • Your helmet (or ask us if you need help)

  • Water, sunscreen, and comfy clothes

  • Your phone or camera for photos

  • A whole lotta love and encouragement

🛠️ We provide tools to:

  • Remove training wheels

  • Adjust seats

  • Pump tires

  • Remove pedals for balance-based learning

Parents are the instructors—we just provide the tools, guidance, and cheer squad. We also offer a simple 4-step how-to guide using our hill technique to help you teach your child with confidence.

đź’¬ Why It Matters

Families drive from all over Ventura County just for the Golden Certificate of Achievement—a now-beloved keepsake of their child’s health and independence. These certificates have become an incredible motivator and tradition, proudly displayed on fridges, framed on walls, and remembered for a lifetime.

We’ve helped hundreds of kids get their start and proudly welcome teenagers, adults, and neurodivergent riders to experience the same success.

❤️ Join the Movement

We’re not just teaching kids to ride—we’re helping families build lasting memories, confidence, and a love of outdoor activity. Be part of the growing community choosing joy, movement, and togetherness.
